What MarketMint is
MarketMint is a free marketplace name generator — a single-purpose tool for brainstorming brand names for online marketplaces. Pick a naming style and a niche, compile a shortlist, copy or download it. That's the whole product.
How it's built
The site is fully static: HTML, CSS, and one JavaScript file. Name generation uses the browser's built-in crypto.getRandomValues() for randomness. There is no backend, no database, no user accounts, and no tracking — by design, not by promise.
What it's not
MarketMint is not a branding agency, not a trademark service, and not a domain registrar. Generated names are creative starting points; verifying that a name is legally available and that its domain can be registered is work only you (and when it matters, a trademark attorney) can do. Why free
Brainstorming shouldn't have a paywall or a sign-up form. The tool costs essentially nothing to run — static hosting, no servers — so it's free, with no upsell and no "pro" tier.
